Twenty-five senior executives from 24 locations completed the Transnational Security Cooperation (TSC) course December 7 at the Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies in Honolulu. More than 40 international security practitioners gather for a group photo during the 'Cyberia: Identity, Cyberspace and National Security' workshop. APCSS professor publishes a new book chapter

Asia-Pacific Center for Security Studies Dr. James R. Campbell recently had a book chapter entitled  "Human Health Threats and Implications for Regional Security in Southeast Asia" (chapter 9), in the book "Human Security: Securing East Asia's Future" (B.T.C. Guan, editor), Springer 2012. Commander, U.S. Central Command visits APCSS

General James Mattis USMC, Commander of U.S. Central Command, visited APCSS August 9, 2012 for a roundtable discussion with staff and faculty of the Center. During his visit Gen Mattis met with APCSS Director Lt. Gen. Dan Leaf USAF (Ret.) and was briefed on the Asia-Pacific region.
