DKI APCSS’ Dr. James M. Minnich is featured in a new publication by the ROK-US Alliance Foundation and the Korea Defense Veteran’s Association called “ROK-US Alliance: 70 for 70.” The publication features profiles of 70 people and their experiences on the Peninsula.
“From Firebase to FAO: A Forty-Year Friendship with Korea” serves as a memoir for Minnich, who is a retired U.S. Army colonel. This chapter takes you from the rain-soaked nights at Camp Casey in 1982 to significant diplomatic strides as the UNCMAC Secretary thirty years later, offering a unique blend of personal experience and historical insight.
